Beauty Tip

Once you've applied your serum and day cream, you can apply La Crème du Teint with your fingers, just like a moisturizer. If you want a more velvety finish and/or greater coverage, apply with a slightly damp makeup sponge. A few strokes are all it takes to even out your complexion, while leaving your skin hydrated and protected. Now you and your skin are ready to take on the day!

For those who prefer the "less is more" approach, La Crème du Teint can also be used as a concealer. Simply dab it onto dark spots and blemishes to hide them.

What is La Crème du teint?

La Crème du Teint is a cross between a cream and a foundation. Unlike a BB cream, which stands for blemish balm, La Crème du Teint cream has moisturizing and anti-aging properties. It offers the same coverage as a foundation and combines the benefits of a makeup and a moisturizer.

Does it have a SPF?

La Crème du Teint contains Tamanu oil, which has a small SPF index, but it has not been formulated to be a sunscreen and has not been tested to be so, so we recommend using extra UV protection if you live in a sunny area. However, La Crème du Teint protects against pollution and oxidative stress.

Can I use it if I am pregnant?

La Crème du Teint contains less than 0,02% of Frankincense essential oil, used for its purifying and harmonizing benefits. Even though the amount used daily is very small, each pregnancy is unique and it is best to ask your doctor for advice and a list of the product's ingredients to avoid any risk.

Silica

Silica is a very fine and gentle powder that, in addition to absorbing excess sebum, provides a silky finish on the skin. With its round, porous microspheres, it reduces the oily finish moisturizers can have, giving a fresh, velvety, and powdered effect.

The round shape of the microspheres diffuses light, helping to blur wrinkles and imperfections and smooth the appearance of the skin's micro-relief.

Aloe Vera

One of the most widely used medicinal plants, Aloe Vera is used to treat burns, including sunburn, to heal wounds and to combat cellular aging. Its composition is very interesting: like a cactus, it contains over 99% water. The remaining 1% is a very potent synergy of 12 vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B12, C, E...) but also numerous minerals, trace elements and amino acids.
