Mamaku

The sap of this tree fern from New Zealand has long been used by the Maoris for its healing properties. A powerful tissue regenerator, it acts on both fibroblasts and keratinocytes. In vitro and in vivo studies showed a 48% increase in cell proliferation. Rich in polysaccharides, it helps to strengthen the dermis and provide a lifting effect.
